Elongated Coins

Another popular area of collecting is the field of elongated coins. These are usually cents, dimes, and quarters that have been rolled through pressing machines and imprinted with various pictures. Most are cents, but the others do occur.

This all started in the early part of the 20th century, and is found in other countries besides the U.S. The non-U.S. coins are far more scarce.

You will find them from many of the World's Fairs and Expos. Currently the Disney parks create quite a lot of them. Some are very scarce and expensive. Most are very affordable.

Visit our pressed coin pages and see for yourself. We are trying constantly to increase the selection and variety, and we will continue to do so.

Love Tokens

One of our more exciting areas is the Love Token section. These coins are artisitc endeavors of craftsmen of the late 19th century until the early 20th century. Coins of the time, both U.S. and World-Wide, were engraved with initials, patterns, or pictures, or a combination. Normally the more intricate, the valuable. Collectors try to find certain combinations of initials or patterns & pictures. We have an extensive inventory and are constantly adding more. We hope you will find something that you like. If you don't, keep coming back and eventually you will.

Choice AU-UNC Kennedy Half Dollars

BU Rolls of Kennedy Halves have climbed steadily over the past few years, especially from 1983 to 1993. Nice choice rolls are commanding higher and higher prices. We have obtained a group of AU-UNC rolls of the better dates. These are what was referred in the old days as "sliders".

Many dealers sell them for BU but they are not in our opinion. They all have at least a touch of wear, but they have a bare minimum of bag marks. Most are full luster.

Check out the pictures of them. They are very useful and valuable for individual sales, collections, etc. Go to AU-UNC Kennedy Rolls.

As always let us know if we can be of service,
